Last night Rebecca and I went to our first hockey game in Japan with the assistance and company of Mr. Baxter. It was quite the event, with the stands lined with at least half a dozen die-hard fans... of which we made up about half. The highlights of the game included many goals, a few good hits, and one poor guy who got sacked with the puck really bad - the signs of which needed no translation. We got to see some interesting traditions, including the team bowing to the officials and eachother after the game. All in all it was a pretty eventful night, although Rebecca's feet got pretty cold, so of course they ended up on my nice warm belly... which produced the usual girl-like screams from me.
