-I bought a pair of rollerblades! The wife of one of the men at Rod’s work had a pair that she rarely used…it turns out they’re an almost perfect fit! We looked them up on the internet, and they’re a $250 value: ours for only $20! Good times ahead.
-Two days ago I saw a pink unicycle being driven down one of the major roads here (by a girl in a pink jacket…I’m not sure what caught my eye more: all the pink or the fact that it was a unicycle).
-Rod and I have a game of guessing the total every time we go grocery shopping. This week my guess was Y4,270. The actual total: Y4,281! Not bad.
-Today is Valentines….According to Japanese protocol, it is my job to buy chocolate for Rodney. BUT….there is an extra holiday in March called White Day, when it’s Rod’s turn to buy me a gift/chocolate. (It’s also expected to be about three times the value of what I spent on him.)
-One week until we go to Nagano!

at campus crusade on monday the guys sang a song for us (skinny ma rinky dinky dink) and gave us valentines and chocolate...it was too cute.
i heart chocolate.
but not as much as i heart you guys.
