Again, it seems like time has slipped by and I have neglected to update this space. Nothing of monumental importance has happened, but last week was a great week of friends, family, and fun. We are so very blessed.
A few highlights included...
-Our weekly "girls" night - where the boys are allowed and invited.
-Spending an evening with a friend putting a few things together for the church library.
-Celebrating another friend's 30th birthday with a barbecue - it was almost alll of my favourite foods, and it wasn't even my party!
-Going to a wine and cheese at my aunt and uncle's a few towns over.
-Being able to get a little bit of yard work done....baby steps.
-Being able to celebrate our anniversary (we had postponed it until a more convenient time).
-Going to a cottage for a day of total relaxation. Not that our lives are stressful or anything, but relaxation is always welcome.
-Having an actual "girls" night - where only the girls were invited - and giving ourselves pedicures, facials, and other beautifying rituals.
This weekend promises even more fun as it is the annual extenda-family camping trip....this year featuring Alqonquin Park!
