Well... I took the plunge. After weeks (months?) of some tactful suggestions, I got Gideon's hair cut. Rod loves it, as he knew he would; on my part, the jury is still out. I admit it looks tidier, but I miss my "baby" boy. I may or may not have shed a tear later that night. Why is something as simple as a haircut so hard?

Thanks, Mama - you did a great job.

Wow, does he ever look like rod in that last photo! He's a very handsome boy - not so much a baby anymore!
I remember when daddy had a hard time of letting go of some hair once. I believe he sold it for money to some of his groupy girls...oh wait, I think I got a bit of it too....ewwwwww a little bit gross when I think of it.
(Sure did look cool hanging out the back of your hockey helmet though, didn't it Rod - you and Jonathon - ponytail kings!!) Ohhhh I'm smiling so much, my face hurts.
PS - Gideon still looks absolutely adorable - enjoy and relish all the changes - it's a wonderful journey each and every day.
Not enjoying the "during" so much, hey? I have to laugh because the "before" looks so much like Julie now, except red instead of blonde. I'm waffling on a cut too :) He definitely still looks cute!
