It seems like an awfully long time to have not updated the last post. Almost egotistical. That wasn't the intention...mostly I just had nothing else to write about, and it got a bit busy. Excuses, excuses.
Just a few of the things I love about this time of year:
-tulips
-daffodils
-fresh cut grass
-sunshine
-clothes on the line
-going for walks
-walking to church
-bbq's
The last week or two have been filled with "life events." As bookends to a week, we celebrated Rod's grandma's 80th birthday, and my Oma's 88th birthday. In between, we celebrated the life and death of a dear family friend, who died at the beautiful age of 93. She lived and died in the comfort of Christ. We also celebrated the birth of friends' first born, a perfectly made miracle. We visited with friends and family; heard of struggles, concerns, and joys; worked hard. God is a faithful God.
