Much later than anticipated, we were happily eating our breakfast, the day's adventure behind us. After cleaning up from our meal, I realized that time was a-ticking and it was best to get a start on the day. I washed my face, brushed my teeth, and was just about to leave the bathroom when G decided it was time to pull up a chair to the sink to play with the water. It is an activity that he highly enjoys and which can keep him busy for a looong time. Today, though, since he was already dressed and especially since he was dry, I told him no and to come along to the bedroom. He didn't, but he was quiet, so I continued on with what I was doing.
A few *very quiet* minutes later, I heard a small little "Mummy" sound/cry for help come from the bathroom.
I went, and he held up his hands to me: they were in need of a wash. He had gotten some toothpaste on them. And then I took it all in: he had taken my toothpaste, unscrewed the cap, and emptied much of the contents into the sink.
After a few more moments, I realized that considering there was so much toothpaste in one area, the room smelled eerily un-minty.
I checked. Sure enough....another poop.
All before 9 am.
"Nothing to look at here"
"Ok, maybe there is a little something."

heh. The Toothpaste reminds me of Ramona Quimby. And also I seem to recall hearing some story or two about little miss Barnhoorn and toothpaste...
The look on his face says: "If Mom is taking a picture of all this....I know I'm not in that much trouble!"
Thanks for sharing!
Grandma Nettie.
And to think, you are having another one!! You are not alone in having "one of those days"!
Thanks for the laugh to begin my morning! What can I say, it happens!
I think there are books to be written about poop incidents.... oh the messes our children can create for us! At least the toothpaste was in the sink :)
