In honour of the end of school and the beginning of summer...
"I'm almost all ready to milk a cow."
Sam, on our way to a farm field trip.
"Thomas is climbing a wall."
"Are you married?"
"I am."
"What's your wife's name?"
"Katherine."
"So you're Mrs. Katherine?"
A vice-principal and a sibling of a student.
"I can see your underwear."
"I don't wear underwear."
Two fellow strawberry pickers.
And, in the Is That a Compliment? category:
Two different teachers to me:
"You're one of the more competent ones."
"Look at you, you cute, sweet, little thing."

Well, Bec you may be cute, and sweet, and little, but probably not so little right now in the more advanced stages of pregnancy. Also I think no one should combine cute, sweet, little, and thing in the same sentence referring to you. And really you are a kindergarten teacher, so to survive you also have to be smart, keep your wits about you, and be well-educated.
you ARE one of the more competent ones!! love it!
