Hair Today

A long time ago, a very emotional mama gave her "little boy" his first haircut. And yes, she cried.
And so it was with much trepidation that the same mama (i.e. me) realized that it was time for her little girl to have her first haircut.
But this time, it was so much easier. The truth of the matter is, it was out of control. More often than not her hair was plastered together with bits of food, and too tangled to properly comb. It was too long for her face and it was just too much. And so, I called in the hairdresser (thanks, Aunt Jess), and the deal was done. Good riddance, hair (except for the lock I kept).
And how did I do? Not even a tear.

Just enough to make a nice difference

Wow! You did it! Esther really needs hers cut too. Maybe for her birthday?

If you are looking for a solution to the food in hair problem: get a bristol brush. It helps, and keeps her hair shiny. I know, it sounds bad, but a momma has to do what a momma has to do.
