What?! Finished!

For the last several months, we (i.e. Rod) have been trying to turn our "upstairs garage" into a space that is a little more usable than for just tools and totes. The last time we did our renovations (also upstairs), it took A Long Time. This time, for several different reasons, things seemed to progress much more quickly.
This weekend - much to our surprise - we finished!! After all the work that was put in - increasing headroom by changing the roofline; framing two exterior walls; re-insulating and putting up vapour-barrier; a new (larger) window; drywalling and adding a subfloor (not to mention the work involved in getting those products UPstairs); doing some electrical work; putting down hardwood; putting in a new door, painting, putting up the trim; and all the other finishing touches that make a room beautiful - We have a completed bedroom!! We are so thrilled with the final product!
