Out with the old, in with the new

Now that winter temperatures are beginning to once again dip down near the freezing mark (I know, we have been spoiled), it has been a real pleasure to have a new installment in our apartment. After over 10 years of loyal service the old air conditioner/heater was suffering from numerous ailments: sputtering, coughing, and a general distaste for the work for which it was intended. And so early this morning a lone Japanese repairman, who remarkably seemed to be suffering some of the same ailments as our old A/C... came to our apartment and installed a new unit.
