In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, the topic of romance was discussed in one of Nova’s recent special topic voice rooms. Students were to write their own romantic poems; the following were written by one of my favourite students. (Used without permission of the author.) I took the liberty of correcting the spelling, to make reading easier.
Roses are red,
Daisies are white.
You are my princess
And I am your knight.
Roses are red,
Cherries are pink.
You will be always with me,
You and I will be linked.
And my personal favourite…
Roses are red,
Lawns are green.
You are with me in the movie,
You and I make [a] love scene.

That last one is hilarious.
So was this written to Rod or to Bec and in that case is the counter part worried at all???
