Observations

By Bec
-There is a lady in our apartment building who has *the* most annoying voice I have ever heard. Bar none.
-It’s really exciting to use gifts that you received more than 2 years ago for the first time. Dishes, cutlery, glasses…Even my pots and pans are exciting and pretty! (I wonder how long that will last for?)
-It’s also very exciting to use old gifts again. I am thinking specifically of my toolbox, and how handy it is.
-After 2 years of much anticipation, I took out our toaster oven. The first time I used it, it exploded.
-If you sit on our toilet, it tilts to the side and to the back.
-It’s a bad idea to keep Lindor chocolates close to the coffeemaker: it causes them to melt.
-It’s exactly a kilometre from work to home: it’s my goal to walk it on a regular basis. Is that just wishful thinking?
-In less than a month we will be in BC!

I remember my first toaster oven explosion. Good times...

We must visit you sometime and compare charred remains.

Do you need a toaster oven? I have a great one just sitting in my apartment that I am now never at.

What do you mean by explode?

I'm glad everyone is so concerned about our toaster oven.

Glen - we would love to see you - with or without charred remains.

Suzanne - I just might take you up on your offer, I'm going to try to exchange it without a receipt, but we'll see if they let me.

Cousin John - in this case, explosion = heating element burst, wires popped out, and white powder went in all directions. Nothing too exotic, there was no Toaster-Oven Shrapnel anywhere in the house.
