Gideon was "singing" the other day at breakfast; the best I could make out it was a hymn from a children's CD he enjoys. Although I am not overly musical, it is a gift/skill that I would like to encourage my children in: even if they don't excel at it, I would at least like them to enjoy the beauty of music. And so I did my best to encourage him.
"Good singing," I said, as I joined him, making sure to sing the melody and the words with more clarity than he had used.
"No, Mummy. Stop," he told me. "Gideon is better."

Don't worry Mummy, I think you are a wonderful vocalist. ~ auntie bec
Hah. I love that you record all of these Gideonisms so that he can read them when he's older. I, however, would love to listen to you sing any day of the week!
