Pitter Patter...

....Let's get at 'er.... After leaving her for two hours, I picked up my little girl from a friend's house.....and she *walked* into my arms. Her first *six* steps!

We spent the evening getting her to do it again and again. What fun! ....but our Potential Trouble Factor just went up exponentially - especially since I found her half-way up our stairs last week, and on top of our ladder a few times today (it's only a two stepper - that makes it way better, right?).

Aww, that is so great that she did that! Those first steps are amazing. Hopefully she stays out of too much trouble, though. I always found that walking didn't create too much more trouble than crawling or standing. Though they really didn't get into too much trouble anyways..when I hear stories of how my nephew will beeline for the toilet and splash around in there every time the door is left open. Oh dear.

The ability to get into trouble remains about the same once they begin to walk. I just found that "walkers" are quieter and quicker than "crawlers"...so that adds to the Potential Trouble Factor exponential!

Oh wow! Way to go, little one!! H LOVES to walk around with me holding onto his hands, I have a feeling he's not too far away from walking by himself - scary thought!! I'm good with just the crawling for now!
