Just the Two of Us

This past weekend, Rod and I were privileged to be able to have a weekend away. After leaving our darlings with my parents, we drove for a few hours to Prince Edward County. Our accomodations were grand: after requesting a room at an inn, we were told they had no rooms, but they *did* have a house.

Although the weather wasn't great, we spent our time in much relaxation: checking out a few wineries, an antique shop or two, some of the lovely shops in the area, a few meals out and a few meals in. Mostly, it was nice to just reconnect.
