As Iron Sharpens Iron

After our weekend away together, Rod went home and I stayed on at my parents' for a few more days with the kids to meet up with some dear and wonderful friends.
Jodi and I were roommates in our first and second years of university. It was like at first sight: she has been a great friend since then and was my maid of honour. Most people think we are sisters, which I wouldn't mind too much if it were true. The problem with Jodi is that she likes to travel....which means I don't get to see her nearly so often as I would like. It had been a year and a half, and N was a bump the last time we got together. The two of us were able to drive up to see another dear friend, Maria. It is hard to put into words the encouragement, fun, and sense of sisters in Christ that these friends bring to my soul. I am thankful for both of them and what they add to my life.

It wasn't the sort of good time that a camera could capture, and so I have no pictures of such wonderful moments., except for this grainy and dark one. I asked the photographer to put it on the "perfect hair" setting....apparently it was broken. At least Jodi looks good.
