G met me at the door of his daycare lady - another treasure of a find! - with today's 'special something:' a bag of Rice Krispy squares that he had helped to make. I noticed that there were five in the bag, and thought it was an odd number, since there are only four of us in the family. (Even three would make sense, since N isn't quite ready for treats of that calibre yet.). The math was quickly explained to me, though: One is for G, one is for Daddy, and one for Mummy. One is for Jesus, and one is for G to have tomorrow.
Finally....math that makes sense to me....
