I do apologize for the long absence. My mom (maybe our only faithful fan) told me the other day "I keep checking in for an update, and all I see is I's smiling face." I guess there are worse things to look at.
I have been meaning to post for a while, and as embarrassing as this is, one of the things I have been meaning to put up are the "first day of school" pictures. Yes. I guess five weeks too late is better than not at all. Maybe.
This year G has started Grade 2, and N started SK. As you can see, they were both very excited to be going back.
Here is their "serious" shot.
They were having too much fun for the camera. I love it when they get along so well.
By the time we got to the "Everybody all together!" shot their smiles were done. Things only got worse from this photo on. It's a sad state of affairs when this is the best there is.
Time to load into the van.

I just came across your blog again because I'm trying to get my blog going again after WAAY too long. Three months is nothing, my friend! I was doing some spring cleaning of my site and going through my links. Most of the pages are history but yours is still active!
Your kids are so cute! Would love to see your family one of these days! We are hoping to make it out your way this summer. We should plan a visit!
