The service was beautiful and full of meaning, and we were surrounded by friends, family and community from near and far as they pledged to help us raise our daughter to know Christ more fully. What an awesome task.

As words of blessing, guidance and assurance, we read some Psalms. Psalm 103 was read by Rod's parents; here are some selections:
Let all that I am praise the Lord; with my whole heart, I will praise His holy name.
Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me...
The Lord is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love...
The love of the Lord remains forever with those who fear Him. His salvation extends to their children's children...
Psalm 121 was read by mine:
I look up to the mountains - does my help come from there?
My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth!
He will not let you stumble; the One who watches over you will not slumber.
Indeed, He who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps.
The Lord Himself watches over you! The Lord stands beside you as your protective shade.
The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon at night.
The Lord keeps you from all harm and watches over your life.
The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.

Naomi Grace, may you grow in wisdom, knowledge, love and faithfulness to our Faithful Father.
"The Lord your God is living among you. He is a Mighty Saviour. He will take delight in you with gladness. With His love, He will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs."

I am so glad you had such a wonderful day!
We were unable to make it because Connor and I were driving back from Cobourg (and got back around 10:15)
Thank you for the pictures! I love both those passages. Such hope for the future!
Happy Baptism!
And I love that you held up Gideon to watch. God has blessed you guys so much! May you continue to see God's goodness in everything. You're such an inspiration!
Love from afar!
Dearest Becs, and Rodney, and Gideon and Naomi, Congrats! I'm glad that you had a wonderful day, and am so sorry that we couldn't be there - we truly would have liked to be!
