Sushi fun!

By Rod
So the sad fact is that Rebecca and I have lived in Japan for nearly a year and had never really eaten a full meal of sushi! We had tried a little here and there, but a few days ago was our first time to eat a whole meal. Here is how it went:

Check out the lovely array of sushi - salmon, shrimp, mackerel, bream and some other good stuff.

Rebecca, who some of you may know has an aversion to fish in any form, is a little nervous before starting.

Here Hiromi, our Japanese teacher, shows us the proper way to eat sushi.

Here we are still smiling, although there were a few faces made as we swallowed a dinner that was not "love at first sight" for us :)

Wow! That's certainly something to be proud of. I don't think I could handle it!
