Today...

Things that made me smile today
-walking in to three of the intermediate teachers huddled around a blood pressure machine, so they could check their blood pressure before and after a day of students
-being treated like a home-coming queen when my former grade 2 class saw me in the school assembly
-realizing that when a teacher closes a door when school is finished, it doesn’t necessarily mean he is in an “important discussion” as I tended to think while I was growing up….it just means they don’t actually want to see you. They may be doing things like checking their blood pressure with other teachers.
-having my associate get frazzled when he realized I wasn’t going to be there tomorrow afternoon because “he really needs me.” (I do have a legit excuse…other TCs and I meet weekly)
-passing out field trip forms for a snowshoeing/hiking trip next week. Yay for field trips!
-making volcanoes “explode”
