It's hard to believe that our year in Japan has come to an end. It has been a year filled with many things: of emotional rollercoasters, of meeting wonderful people, of seeing and experiencing new things, and a time to grow and learn.
Today was our last day in Japan, and it was a busy one. We worked until last night, which was followed by an outdoor Sayonara Party for us. This morning we woke up bright and early and had a full day of cleaning, laundry, organizing, packing, (and wondering how in the world it would fit) running errands and hoping that we haven't forgotten anything.
The scary thing is that we were advised to enjoy "the peace and quiet" while we could. I can't help but think "Where is it?"
Our next week at home promises to be quite action-packed....the fun never ends! We leave tomorrow and after a solid 25 hours worth of travelling, we arrive (D.V.) at my parents house. The plan is to spend a day there, spend a day with Rod's parents, leave the next day for a good friends' wedding, and from that wedding head to my brother's 2 day wedding hoopla.
And after that...I crash. (If not before.)
For now, it is farewell to Japan.
